JUI Quetta Alleges Corruption in Government Offices, Calls for Administrative Reforms
Quetta: Leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Quetta have alleged that government offices have become centers of corruption and bribery, urging the authorities to introduce greater transparency, accountability, and public-friendly governance.
Speaking on the issue, JUI Quetta district chief Maulana Abdul Rahman Rafiq, Secretary General Haji Ainullah Shams, and other party leaders said public institutions were meant to serve citizens but were increasingly failing in that role.
They claimed that people are forced to visit multiple government offices to complete legitimate and lawful procedures, while many, particularly low-income citizens, face unnecessary delays, obstacles, and humiliation.
The JUI leaders further stated that residents of Quetta are already struggling with a shortage of basic public services, and what they described as the anti-public attitude of government offices is adding to their hardships.
They called on the government to ensure transparency, accountability, and citizen-friendly administrative practices, while taking effective action against officials found involved in corruption and bribery.
