Woman, Three Children Found Dead in Lahore; Police Probe Suspected Poisoning

LAHORE:A woman and her three children were found dead at their home in a private housing society in Lahore in a suspected poisoning incident, police said.

According to police, the victims included a woman and her three children, aged between **5 and 15 years**. Initial investigations suggest that all four died after consuming a poisonous substance.

SP Model Town said preliminary findings indicate that the mother and her children were allegedly given contaminated or poisonous food. Police have taken the children’s father into custody for questioning, and further investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

In a separate incident in **Shaukatabad, Okara**, a father and his two sons also died from suspected poisoning.

Police said the man, identified as **Arif**, allegedly mixed poisonous tablets into food after reportedly becoming distressed over his wife leaving the family. He is believed to have consumed the poisoned meal himself and also fed it to his two sons.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into both incidents to establish the exact causes and circumstances of the deaths.
