Emraan Hashmi Says Love From Pakistani Fans Won His Heart

ISLAMABAD: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has fondly recalled the warm welcome he received from fans in Pakistan, describing the love and hospitality shown to him during his visit to Lahore as unforgettable.
Speaking in a recent interview on the Indian podcast The Lallantop Show, Hashmi reflected on the release of his film Awarapan in Pakistan and said the overwhelming response from Pakistani audiences remains one of his most cherished memories.
“My film Awarapan was released in Pakistan, and we traveled to Lahore for the promotion. The love and enthusiasm with which I was welcomed there were truly special. It was heartwarming to see so many fans, and the hospitality we received was remarkable,” he said.
Hashmi noted that Hindi films have long enjoyed immense popularity in Pakistan, adding that Pakistani audiences have always shown great interest in Indian cinema.
During the interview, the host also asked him about reports of an uncontrollable crowd during the release of his film Jannat in Pakistan. Responding to the question, the actor said there has always been a strong fascination with Bollywood films among Pakistani moviegoers.
