Nine Killed in Roof and Wall Collapses Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Over Past 48 Hours: PDMA

Islamabad: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released a report detailing the damage caused by heavy rains, windstorms, and flash floods across the province.
According to the report, at least nine people lost their lives over the past 48 hours after roofs and walls collapsed in rain-related incidents.
The PDMA said 23 others were injured, while 41 houses sustained damage due to heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
The affected districts include Khyber, Lower Dir, Mardan, Shangla, Bajaur, Lower Chitral, and Upper Dir, where multiple weather-related incidents were reported.
Director General PDMA said district administrations have been directed to accelerate relief operations and ensure that immediate assistance is provided to all affected families.
