Body of Missing Seven-Year-Old Girl Found in Under-Construction Building in Nasirabad

NASIRABAD: The body of a seven-year-old girl, who had been missing for the past two days, was recovered from the premises of an under-construction building in the Notal area of Nasirabad, prompting grief and calls for a thorough investigation.

According to police, the child left her home two days earlier to run a small errand but did not return. Her family, relatives, and local residents searched for her before reporting her disappearance to the police, who subsequently launched a search operation.

Police said they later received information that the body of a young girl had been found inside the compound of an under-construction house in Notal. Officers reached the scene, took the body into custody, and transferred it to a hospital after completing the required legal formalities.

Authorities said a post-mortem examination is being conducted, and forensic and medical reports will determine the exact cause and circumstances of the child’s death. Police stated that it would be premature to conclude whether the death resulted from natural causes, an accident, or a criminal act before the investigation is complete.
