Pakistan to Gift 34 Tonnes of Mangoes to Leaders of 76 Countries Under ‘Mango Diplomacy’ Initiative
Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has decided to present more than 34 tonnes of premium Pakistani mangoes to heads of state and prominent diplomatic figures from 76 countries as part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s special “Mango Diplomacy” initiative.
According to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the shipment will consist of 6,896 boxes, each weighing 5 kilograms, containing high-quality Pakistani mangoes.
The largest consignments will be sent to Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and China.
The initiative aims to promote Pakistan’s world-renowned mangoes in international markets while strengthening diplomatic ties and friendly relations with partner countries through the exchange of one of Pakistan’s most celebrated agricultural products.
The government hopes the campaign will further enhance the global recognition of Pakistani mangoes and reinforce goodwill with countries across the world.
