Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Assures Full Support for Musakhel Earthquake Victims

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the provincial government is utilizing all available resources to provide relief and essential facilities to families affected by the recent earthquake in Kingri tehsil of Musakhel district.

In a statement shared on social media, the chief minister said the government fully understands the hardships faced by the affected families and assured them that they would not be left alone under any circumstances.

He said that, on his directives, the Relief Commissioner and the Director General of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) conducted a detailed visit to the earthquake-hit areas to assess the damage and distribute relief supplies among the affected families.

Bugti emphasized that the immediate relief, rehabilitation, and provision of basic necessities to the victims remain the government’s top priority. He directed the district administration, PDMA, and other relevant departments to accelerate relief operations and ensure that aid is distributed transparently, promptly, and without discrimination so that every deserving family receives government assistance.

The chief minister also instructed all concerned agencies to continuously monitor the situation in the affected areas and maintain close coordination to ensure effective relief efforts. He said a comprehensive damage assessment would be completed, followed by immediate measures for the rehabilitation of affected families.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment, Bugti said the provincial administration would continue to provide every possible support to citizens affected by natural disasters and would prioritize relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts to help victims return to normal life as soon as possible.
