Momina Iqbal Says She Will Not Forgive Nasir Madni Over ‘False Allegations’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has strongly reacted to statements made by religious scholar Nasir Madni, accusing him of spreading false allegations against her and declaring that she will not forgive him for what she described as an attack on her character.
In a series of Instagram stories, Momina Iqbal expressed her disappointment over Madni’s remarks, claiming that he had further fueled accusations and allegations against her while speaking from the pulpit.
The actress stated that she was confident she would be vindicated both in this world and in the hereafter, saying that only she and Allah know the truth regarding the allegations made against her.
“I will not forgive Nasir Madni,” she wrote, while adding that she had left her matter in the hands of Allah.
Momina Iqbal also emphasized that Islam strictly prohibits making accusations without evidence and damaging a person’s honor and reputation. Referring to verses from Surah An-Nur, she said that every action and statement would ultimately be accounted for and that justice would prevail.
The controversy has generated mixed reactions across social media and the entertainment industry, with supporters and critics expressing differing views on the matter.
Attention is now focused on how Nasir Madni will respond to the legal notice reportedly sent in connection with the dispute.
