Pakistan’s Diplomatic Role Praised in US-Iran Tension De-escalation, Says Balochistan Awami Party
Quetta – Leaders of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) have hailed the reduction in tensions between the United States and Iran, terming it a significant development for global peace and stability, while praising Pakistan’s political and military leadership for their effective diplomatic engagement.
In a joint statement, senior and central leaders of the party said that the recent easing of tensions in the Middle East, which had the potential to escalate into a major conflict, was made possible due to timely, wise, and effective diplomatic efforts.
They stated that the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir played a decisive and coordinated role in projecting Pakistan’s positive, responsible, and peace-oriented image on the global stage.
According to the statement, Pakistan’s political and military leadership demonstrated strong diplomatic engagement and strategic vision, contributing to what they described as a “major international diplomatic success” in facilitating understanding between the US and Iran.
The BAP leaders further said that Pakistan, as a responsible nuclear state, has once again proven its commitment to promoting peace, brotherhood, mutual respect, and stability in the region. They added that the country’s peace-oriented policy and active diplomacy have sent a clear message to the world that Pakistan prioritizes dialogue and diplomacy over conflict.
They also noted that Pakistan’s constructive role in reducing regional tensions has strengthened its global reputation as a responsible and peace-loving nation.
Congratulating the nation on what they called a historic diplomatic achievement, the leaders said Pakistan would continue to play its role for global peace, stability, and development in the future with the same commitment and determination.
