Balochistan Provincial Agriculture Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri Resigns Over Differences with Chief Minister and Departmental Interference

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) – Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, Balochistan’s Provincial Minister for Agriculture and focal person for the President, has resigned from the provincial cabinet, citing differences with the Chief Minister and undue interference in his constituency and department. He submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

In his resignation, Zehri stated that he was unable to dedicate sufficient time and attention to the Agriculture Department, prompting his decision to step down. Speaking to NNI, he confirmed that disagreements with the Chief Minister and unwarranted interference in his constituency and department led him to resign in protest.

When asked whether he had informed the President regarding his resignation, Zehri said that the party leadership had been notified. However, considering the dignity of the President, he did not seek any intervention in this matter.
