Four Terrorists Killed in Two Intelligence-Based Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ISPR

Peshawar (Kudrat News) — Security forces conducted two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing four terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij group, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR stated that during the night between June 3 and 4, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan district after receiving reports of the presence of militants. The forces effectively engaged the hideout, and after a heavy exchange of fire, two terrorists were eliminated.
In a separate operation conducted in Mohmand district, security forces successfully targeted another group of militants, killing two more terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the slain militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
The ISPR added that clearance and search operations are ongoing in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining threat.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the successful operations and commended the security forces for their effective action against Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij. He stated that operations against terrorism would continue until its complete eradication from the country.
The Prime Minister said that the nation values the sacrifices of its armed forces and security institutions, adding that Pakistan will continue to foil all conspiracies against its peace, stability, and sovereignty. He reiterated that there is no space for terrorists and their facilitators in the country and reaffirmed the government’s commitment under “Azm-e-Istehkam” to eliminate terrorism with the support of the entire nation.
