Nokkundi and Sibi Recorded as Pakistan’s Hottest Cities Amid Rising Temperatures

QUETTA:** The Balochistan cities of Nokkundi and Sibi recorded the highest temperatures in Pakistan on Tuesday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Weather officials reported that the maximum temperature in both Nokkundi and Sibi reached 48 degrees Celsius, making them the hottest locations in the country. Meanwhile, Dalbandin recorded a maximum temperature of 47 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department also noted that Quetta experienced its hottest day of the current season, with the mercury rising to 39 degrees Celsius.
According to the department, temperatures in Quetta are expected to remain high, with the maximum temperature forecast to range between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius today.
The ongoing heatwave continues to affect several parts of Balochistan, prompting authorities to advise residents to take precautionary measures and avoid unnecessary exposure to extreme heat during peak daytime hours.
