Karachi Drug Network Allegedly Using Chips and Papad Packets to Deliver Cocaine

Karachi: Investigators have uncovered an alleged drug trafficking method in Karachi in which cocaine is reportedly concealed inside packets of chips and papad before being delivered to customers across the city.

According to media reports, the revelation emerged during ongoing investigations into a suspected narcotics network allegedly linked to a woman identified as Anmol alias Pinky, who was previously arrested in a joint operation by Karachi Police and an intelligence agency. She was reportedly wanted in cases related to narcotics possession and illegal weapons.

Despite her arrest, investigators believe the network remains active and has adapted its methods to avoid detection by law enforcement agencies.

Authorities say recent findings indicate that traffickers are allegedly hiding cocaine inside ordinary snack packets and using delivery riders to transport the drugs to homes, luxury residences, and restaurants in various parts of the city.

Investigators also reportedly obtained details of conversations in which suppliers allegedly instructed customers that the narcotics would be concealed within multiple snack packets delivered by riders.

According to the reports, members of the network have also changed their payment methods to make transactions harder to trace. Customers are allegedly being provided with new account numbers, temporary digital payment accounts, and e-wallet details for online transfers.

Law enforcement officials say they are expanding the scope of their investigation to identify other members of the network and counter its evolving methods of operation.

Authorities have not yet announced the results of the broader investigation, and the allegations regarding the network’s continued activities remain under investigation.
