Five Killed in Firing Incident at Market in Qila Abdullah

Qila Abdullah:** At least five people were killed in a shooting incident at the Mezi Adda Bazaar area of Qila Abdullah on Monday, according to police officials.

Police said unidentified gunmen opened fire in the busy market, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. The attackers reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle immediately after the shooting.

The bodies of the victims were shifted to the Mezi Trauma Center for legal formalities and further investigation, police added.

Following the incident, relatives of the victims staged a protest sit-in on the Quetta–Chaman Highway, demanding justice and action against those responsible. The demonstration led to the blockage of the highway, causing disruption to traffic in the area.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, while no group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
