Bangladesh Complete Historic Whitewash Over Pakistan in Sylhet Test Series

SYLHET: The Bangladesh national cricket team defeated the Pakistan national cricket team by 78 runs in the second Test at Sylhet to complete a 2–0 series whitewash.
Chasing a target of 437 runs in the final innings, Pakistan were bowled out for 359 on the fifth day, falling short despite a determined batting effort.
At the start of the final day, Bangladesh needed three wickets to seal victory, while Pakistan required 121 runs to stay alive in the match. The visitors, however, collapsed under pressure as Bangladesh wrapped up the innings to secure a landmark win.
The result followed Bangladesh’s earlier 104-run victory in Dhaka, completing a dominant series performance over Pakistan.
The series was played across venues in Dhaka and Sylhet, marking one of Bangladesh’s most significant Test achievements to date.
