Main accused identified in Sea View double-cabin collision case that killed car driver

KARACHI: Police have identified the main suspect in a fatal road accident involving a double-cabin vehicle at Sea View on May 14, in which a car driver lost his life.

According to police documents, the accused, identified as Numan Ali, hails from Dera Murad Jamali. Authorities said that transport documents issued by the Balochistan Excise Department were recovered from the suspect’s vehicle.

Police further revealed that the accused runs a transport business between Karachi and Balochistan. Raids are being conducted in various parts of the city to arrest him, as he has been absconding since the incident.

Officials added that there is a possibility the suspect may be hiding in Balochistan, and efforts are underway to trace his whereabouts.

Police sources also stated that the suspect’s brother had previously been involved in a separate incident in June 2024, in which he allegedly assaulted a traffic police officer in Quetta.
