Three employees linked to Chinese mining company found shot dead near highway in Dalbandin

DALBANDIN (Kuwait News Desk) — The bullet-riddled bodies of three men associated with a Chinese mining company were recovered near the national highway in the Chahter area of Dalbandin, Balochistan, officials said on Monday.
According to Levies and administrative sources, security forces and local authorities rushed to the scene after receiving reports that three bodies were lying near the roadside. The bodies were taken into custody and shifted to a hospital for legal formalities and identification procedures.
Initial investigations and official documents revealed that the deceased were connected with MCC, a Chinese mining company involved in mineral extraction projects in Dalbandin and Saindak.
The victims were identified as Zahir Ahmed and Waseem, both residents of Sargodha, and Muhammad Afzal, a resident of Chiniot in Punjab province.
Security sources said the victims were allegedly targeted by unidentified armed men, either after being abducted or while traveling, and died on the spot after being shot.
Authorities have started arrangements to send the bodies to their hometowns, while law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and intensified investigations to trace those responsible for the killings.
