PM Shehbaz Sharif Urges Unity and Harmony on International Day of Peaceful Coexistence

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message on the International Day of Peaceful Coexistence, has emphasized the importance of building a peaceful, harmonious, and united society.

He said the day highlights the significance of a peaceful social environment, which he described as both a national heritage and a constitutional responsibility.

Referring to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan’s founding leader had outlined national priorities based on honesty and justice in both national and international affairs. He added that these principles remain the foundation of Pakistan’s identity and efforts toward a united society.

Shehbaz Sharif said the government is committed to taking practical steps for the promotion of tolerance and unity. He noted that awareness programs on fundamental rights are being used to encourage harmony, tolerance, and social cohesion.

The Prime Minister also appealed to the youth, religious scholars, and civil society to actively contribute to promoting tolerance and mutual respect.

He called for collective efforts to build a Pakistan where a prosperous and peaceful future is ensured for all citizens.
