PTI Leader Abdullah Tahir Murder Case: TikToker Identified as Alleged Honey-Trap Accomplice

LAHORE: Police have made significant revelations about a TikToker allegedly involved in the honey-trap operation linked to the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Abdullah Tahir.

According to police, the TikToker has been identified as Lareeb, a resident of Sialkot. Police said Lareeb was married to the alleged leader of the shooters’ gang accused of killing Abdullah Tahir.

According to investigators, after obtaining a divorce through khula from the gang leader, Lareeb remarried. Following her separation from her second husband, she allegedly re-established contact with the shooters’ gang leader.

Police said the gang leader initially assigned her the task of luring Abdullah Tahir into a honey trap. The TikToker allegedly shared photographs of Abdullah Tahir, but when he did not respond, the gang allegedly changed the assignment.

Investigators said she was then given a second task to honey-trap Abdullah Tahir’s driver. Police claimed that she successfully lured the driver, which helped the alleged perpetrators execute the murder plan.

According to police, the contract for Abdullah Tahir’s murder was allegedly agreed for more than Rs2 billion.
