ANP Leaders Urge Stronger Focus on Public Issues Amid Rising Economic Challenges

QUETTA: Leaders of the Awami National Party have stressed that political parties must highlight the issues faced by the public in the current situation, as citizens continue to suffer due to inflation, unemployment, and lack of basic facilities.
The remarks were made during a meeting of the ANP District Quetta Committee in Quetta held under the chairmanship of District President Malik Hanif Achakzai.
The meeting was attended by senior party leaders including ANP Balochistan President Asghar Khan Achakzai, parliamentary leader Engineer Zmarak Khan Achakzai, Provincial General Secretary Mabat Kaka, along with a large number of party workers and local office bearers.
Participants discussed organizational matters, the current political situation, party performance, public outreach campaigns, and future political strategy in detail. The leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots level and continuing efforts for the resolution of public issues.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders said that political parties have a responsibility to raise voice for the problems faced by the people, especially rising inflation, unemployment, and the lack of access to education, healthcare, and basic facilities.
They said these challenges have made life difficult for ordinary citizens, and ANP would continue to advocate for public rights at every forum.
Engineer Zmarak Khan Achakzai emphasized that party workers are the backbone of the organization and their dedication has strengthened the party further. He called for further activation of party structures at union council and tehsil levels to ensure that the party’s message reaches every household.
ANP Balochistan President Asghar Khan Achakzai stated that the party has always struggled for democracy, constitutional supremacy, and the rights of the Pashtun people, and will continue this principled political struggle.
Provincial General Secretary Mabat Kaka also highlighted the need for greater political mobilization and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to democratic values and public service.
At the end of the meeting, several proposals were approved to improve organizational efficiency, enhance worker engagement, and strengthen political activities at the district level. The participants reaffirmed their resolve to continue the struggle for public service and political awareness in District Quetta.
