Government Deceived Employees, Raids and Arrests Unacceptable”: JUI-P Leader Younus Ziri Demands Implementation of Agreements

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):**
**Younus Ziri**, Member of the Provincial Assembly and Opposition Leader of **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-P)**, strongly condemned the **raids on the homes of Grand Alliance leaders, arrests, and suspension of government employees**, calling these actions unacceptable. He demanded **immediate implementation of the agreements reached with employees**.
Speaking on the issue, Ziri emphasized that government employees form the **backbone of the state machinery**, yet in the current period of severe inflation, it has become increasingly difficult for them to maintain a dignified life. He criticized the government for **failing to fully implement the DRA agreement** and for misleading employees during negotiations, forcing them back to protests after initially pacifying them.
Ziri stated that **Balochistan is already facing serious challenges**, including insecurity, economic instability, and lack of basic facilities, making renewed employee protests particularly concerning. He demanded that **arrested employees be released, cases against them withdrawn, suspensions lifted, and all agreements, including the DRA, be fully enforced**.
He affirmed JUI-P’s **complete support for the lawful and peaceful struggle of employees** and said the party will continue to raise its voice on every platform in their favor. Ziri also disclosed that he has **sent a formal letter to Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti** regarding these issues, urging prompt government action.
