Second LNG Shipment From Qatar Arrives in Karachi After Passing Through Strait of Hormuz

KARACHI: A second liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel carrying cargo from Qatar has arrived in Karachi after successfully passing through the Strait of Hormuz, according to sources.
The LNG ship had reportedly been delayed after being stopped in the Strait of Hormuz but later resumed its journey towards Karachi and has now reached the port safely.
Sources said that three LNG vessels have arrived in Karachi since the Iran conflict began. One shipment arrived from the United States, another from the United Arab Emirates, while the third vessel carrying LNG from Qatar docked at Port Qasim.
The arrival of the shipments comes amid heightened regional tensions and concerns over disruptions to energy supply routes in the Gulf region.
