“If People in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Get Peace and Employment, PTI’s Vote Bank Will Be Denting” — Asma Shirazi

LAHORE (Qudrat Daily) — Senior journalist Asma Shirazi has said that if the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa get peace and security as well as employment, PTI’s vote bank will be dented, but if all of this is not provided, they will face further problems.

In her YouTube vlog, she said that PTI’s path in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appears to be getting difficult. If the state implements the promises it made within three months and prosperity and development come there — the major problem in KP is the continuous increase in flour prices, and now it is being said that the supply of wheat from Punjab will also continue to be kept smooth and uninterrupted.

There is a need to increase the activities of political parties there. If all of this happens within three months and local government elections are held there, people will participate in them and young leadership will get an opportunity to come forward.

Difficulties for PTI there have increased; they have lost their government in KP. The major reason why the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa did not come out on the streets for Tehreek-e-Insaf and did not come out for protests is that people there want peace and security, employment, and good governance. If people get peace and security and employment, PTI’s vote bank will be dented; if the people do not get peace and security and employment, they will face further problems, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is called PTI’s political stronghold, could also suffer political damage.
