PTI Lawmakers Clash in National Assembly After Heated Argument

ISLAMABAD: Members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were involved in a heated confrontation inside the National Assembly after the session ended, exposing internal tensions within the party.
According to reports, the dispute began when PTI lawmaker Iqbal Afridi attempted to point out a lack of quorum during proceedings. However, fellow PTI member Junaid Akbar and other party lawmakers reportedly tried to stop him from doing so.
The disagreement quickly escalated into a verbal exchange between Iqbal Afridi and Junaid Akbar, forcing other assembly members to intervene in an attempt to calm the situation.
During the commotion, MNA Fazal Muhammad Khan from Swat allegedly reacted angrily after being verbally abused and reportedly removed his shoe in an attempt to attack Iqbal Afridi.
Fellow lawmakers immediately stepped in and separated Fazal Muhammad Khan and Junaid Akbar from Afridi, preventing the confrontation from turning into a physical fight.
The incident has drawn attention to growing internal differences within the PTI parliamentary ranks.
