Pakistan Airports Authority Opens Daycare Center at Karachi Airport for Female Employees

KARACHI: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has taken an important step to facilitate female employees by inaugurating a daycare center at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, following a similar facility at its headquarters.
According to PAA, the daycare center was inaugurated by Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Zeeshan Saeed, Director General of the Pakistan Airports Authority. Airport Manager and other senior officials of Jinnah International Airport were also present at the opening ceremony.
The newly established facility is designed to support working mothers employed at the airport. It will provide childcare services for children aged between 3 months and 3 years, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during working hours.
Initially, the daycare center will operate from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while plans are under consideration to extend its operations to 24 hours in the near future, according to the authority.
Officials stated that the initiative aims to ease the burden on working mothers by providing reliable childcare support, allowing them to focus on their professional responsibilities with greater peace of mind.
