11 Killed as Vehicle Plunges into Ravine in Swat

At least 11 people were killed and five others injured after a vehicle plunged into a deep ravine in Swat District, rescue officials said.

According to rescue authorities, the vehicle was traveling from the Malam Jabba area to Ganajir when it lost control near Ganajir and fell into a deep gorge.

Local residents and rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after the accident and recovered the bodies of 11 victims. Five injured passengers were shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

Officials said women and children were among the dead and injured. All victims were transferred to Saidu شریف Hospital for emergency care.
