Roof Collapse During Heavy Rain Kills 11, Injures 12 in Kohat
Kohat:At least **11 people, including women and children, were killed** and **12 others injured** after the roof of a mud house collapsed during heavy rainfall in the mountainous village of **Malagin**, on the outskirts of Kohat.
According to Rescue officials, the incident occurred on Monday while a gathering was taking place inside the house. Rescue teams launched an operation to recover victims trapped beneath the rubble and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals after providing first aid.
Officials said many of the injured are women and children, while the death toll rose to 11 as rescue efforts continued.
In a separate rain-related incident, the collapse of a wall in **Attock** left **five people injured**.
Meanwhile, heavy rains triggered flash flooding in seasonal streams in the tribal areas of **Dera Ghazi Khan**. The downpour also caused widespread power outages in several areas of **Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan,** and **Muzaffargarh**, disrupting electricity supply.
