“Enemy Will Never Forget 0-8 Defeat,” Says Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE: In a statement marking the completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq,” Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed gratitude and said that the enemy will never forget the “0-8 defeat.”

She paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the chiefs of the Air Force and Navy.

Maryam Nawaz said that the world has witnessed Pakistan’s victory and India’s defeat, adding that this acknowledgment will continue in the future. She stated that “Marka-e-Haq” has left a lasting mark of Pakistan’s strength on the enemy.

She further said that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, but when the time comes, it stands united like a “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.” She added that the event has become an important chapter in Pakistan’s national history.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the entire nation stood united, and the coordination between the armed forces and the public forced the enemy to retreat. She said Pakistan’s “Shaheens” demonstrated their professional excellence and superiority.

She added that citizens across the country are celebrating the success, with festivities being observed in cities, towns, and villages across Punjab.
