Islamabad Skies Roar as “Battle of Truth” Marks One-Year Anniversary

Islamabad: Special commemorative events have begun in the federal capital to mark the completion of one year of the “Battle of Truth,” as the skies over Islamabad echoed with the sound of fighter jets.
According to details, modern aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force conducted a spectacular flypast rehearsal over the city. The jets flew in tight formations and performed low-altitude maneuvers, demonstrating operational readiness and professional excellence.
Officials said the aerial display is part of preparations for the annual ceremony marking the “Battle of Truth,” with rehearsals being carried out ahead of the main event.
The administration and Pakistan Air Force have advised citizens not to be alarmed by the loud sounds or low-flying aircraft, clarifying that all activities are part of scheduled training exercises.
The term “Battle of Truth” refers to the military response during border tensions in May 2025, when Pakistan’s armed forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force, responded to what officials described as enemy aggression with a strong defensive operation.
Authorities confirmed that rehearsal activities will continue as part of final preparations for the upcoming commemorative event.
