Tailor Master’s Daughter Sets Record by Winning 17 Gold Medals at Peshawar Medical College

Islamabad: Students of Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar have achieved outstanding academic success, securing a record number of gold medals and bringing pride to the institution.
Among the top achievers, student Qandeel Murtaza, daughter of a tailor master from Haripur, made headlines by winning an extraordinary 17 gold medals. Her achievement received a standing ovation at the ceremony, where the hall echoed with applause when her name was announced.
Reports said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister also presented medals to the outstanding students during the ceremony, while their families were present on the occasion. Qandeel’s father, who works as a tailor master, stood proudly beside her as she was honored.
Other high achievers included Muqaddas, who secured 10 gold medals, and Sabin, who won 7 gold medals. Their exceptional performance highlights their dedication, hard work, and academic excellence.
Qandeel Murtaza shared that her success is part of a strong educational background in her family. She noted that one of her sisters is serving as a Grade 17 officer in the FIA, another sister has completed a PhD and is working in Islamabad, while a brother is an engineering graduate.
The remarkable achievements of these students have been widely appreciated, serving as an inspiration for other aspiring medical students across the country.
