A “Pakistan Victory Day” rally was organized in Muzaffarabad after Friday prayers outside the Central Press Club at Azadi Chowk under the banner of the Chief of Defense Forces Lovers Forum.
The rally was led by government spokesperson and PPP assembly candidate Shaukat Javed Mir along with religious and political figures including Manzoor Ahmad Kashif, Haji Muhammad Iqbal, Zahir Latif Salharia, Nisar Chaudhry, and Muqaddas Iqbal Prince.
Participants carried banners, placards, and flex boards displaying slogans in support of the Pakistan Armed Forces, martyrs of Pakistan and Kashmir, and messages condemning Indian actions in Kashmir.

Addressing the rally, Shaukat Javed Mir said Pakistan had enhanced its global standing through successful anti-terror operations such as Operation Rah-e-Nijat, Operation Zarb-e-Azb, and Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
He praised the leadership of Syed Asim Munir, saying enemy designs had been foiled and Indian aggression had received a strong response.
He also urged people to participate in another “Pakistan Victory” rally scheduled for May 10 in the Leepa Valley along the Line of Control and reaffirmed support for the cause of Kashmir.
Other speakers stated that Pakistan and its armed forces had played an important role in promoting global peace, stability, and counterterrorism efforts.
The rally concluded with special prayers for Pakistan’s security, unity of the Muslim Ummah, freedom for Jammu and Kashmir, and the success of Pakistan’s armed forces. Participants also offered prayers for the martyrs of Pakistan, Kashmir, and democracy.
