Suicide Attack on Army Check Post Foiled in South Waziristan, Seven Injured

A suicide attack targeting an army check post in South Waziristan was successfully foiled, leaving seven people injured, security sources reported.

According to officials, militants attempted to carry out the हमला in the Azam Warsak area using a vehicle loaded with explosives. However, an alert security unit intercepted the वाहन before it could reach its intended target and destroyed it at a safe distance from the post.

Security sources confirmed that the timely response prevented a major loss of life. The suicide bomber was killed in the operation, while seven individuals sustained injuries.

Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to eliminate any remaining threats.

Hospital authorities, including MS Dr. Jan Muhammad, stated that the injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital Wana, where they are receiving medical treatment.
