Fake Loan App Network Busted in Lahore, 39 Arrested

LAHORE: Authorities have busted a network allegedly involved in operating fake loan applications in Lahore and arrested 39 suspects, police said.

According to police, the arrested suspects include 38 men and one woman.

The operation was conducted by the Lahore Circle of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).

According to a spokesperson, 40 laptops and 41 mobile phones were recovered from the suspects. A case has been registered against them, the spokesperson added.

Further investigation into the alleged fake loan app network is underway.
