Over 800 Kidnapped Women Still Missing in Lahore Over Five Years: Police Report

A concerning report has revealed that hundreds of women kidnapped in Lahore over the past five years remain untraced.
According to police records, at least 824 women abducted between 2021 and 2025 have yet to be recovered. Despite cases being registered in all incidents, authorities have so far been unable to determine their whereabouts.
The data shows that the highest number of missing women—282—were reported from the Cantonment Division. In addition, 152 cases were recorded in the Saddar Division and 124 in the City Division.
Other affected areas include Model Town Division, where 110 women remain missing, and Iqbal Town Division with 100 unresolved cases. Meanwhile, 56 women abducted from Civil Lines Division are also still unaccounted for.
The report highlights ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in tracing abducted individuals, raising serious concerns about public safety and investigative effectiveness in the provincial capital.
