Green Line Bus Service Launched in Quetta to Connect Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology

Quetta: On the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Transport Department has formally launched the Green Line Bus Service to facilitate citizens with safe, reliable, and quality public transport, connecting key areas of the city to the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology.
According to a spokesperson of the Transport Department, the bus service will operate daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with buses departing every 45 minutes to ensure minimal waiting time for commuters.
The route covers several important locations across Quetta, including B.A. Mall, FC Hospital, Nawab Killi, Zarghoon Abad, Haji Munan, Labour Colony, Abdul Khaliq Chowk, Christian Colony, Highway Mart, Malezai, Nasran, NUST, and the SMBZAN Institute of Cardiology.
Officials stated that the initiative aims to provide convenient, timely, and comfortable transportation access, particularly for patients and their attendants traveling to the cardiac institute.
The Transport Department further added that the provincial government is prioritizing public welfare projects and will continue to improve the urban transport system in the future.
