Hand Grenade Attack on Settlers’ Camp in Chagai Leaves Five Injured

Dalbandin – At least five people were injured after unknown assailants hurled a hand grenade at a settlers’ camp in Killi Baz Muhammad area of District Chagai, police said.
According to police sources, the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where they are receiving medical treatment. Officials confirmed that all the injured persons are in stable condition and out of danger, having sustained minor injuries.
The injured individuals were reportedly associated with the construction sector and were working on ongoing development projects in the area at the time of the attack.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chagai stated that unidentified attackers threw a hand grenade at the camp and managed to escape from the scene. He added that security forces and police have launched a search operation in the area after cordoning it off to trace the attackers.
Police have registered a case and initiated further investigations into the incident.
