Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Following Ideology of Its Founders, Says Nasrullah Khan Zerey

Quetta: Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkMAP) Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Zerey has said that the party remains committed to the principles and legacy of its founding leaders, continuing its struggle to achieve national objectives based on democratic values and public rights.
Speaking at multiple organizational meetings and unit elections in Quetta, he described PkMAP as a disciplined, active, and ideological political force, distinguished by its commitment to protecting democratic traditions, public rights, and national identity.
Zerey also appealed to party workers and the public to participate in large numbers in a public gathering scheduled for May 10 in Quetta to mark the ninth death anniversary of late party leader Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail. He said such events reflect the party’s ideological strength and collective unity.
The meetings were held under various regional and local units, where organizational matters were reviewed and elections for new office-bearers were conducted. Performance reports of previous office-holders were presented and formally approved by participants.
Newly elected office-bearers took oath administered by Zerey, who expressed confidence that they would carry out their responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and adherence to party discipline and ideology.
Party leaders, including Noor Agha Durrani and others, also addressed the gatherings, emphasizing the need to strengthen organizational structure, enhance political awareness, and expand public outreach.
Speakers stressed that party workers should take inspiration from the sacrifices of their predecessors and play an active role in addressing public issues. They highlighted the importance of organizational stability, grassroots mobilization, and effective communication to achieve the party’s goals.
The leadership reiterated its commitment to continue efforts for the protection of public rights, promotion of democratic values, and resolution of national issues at all levels.
