Bodies Found, Enforced Disappearances in Balochistan Highly Alarming: Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman

Quetta (Kudrat Daily) – Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch has expressed deep concern over the growing incidents of bodies being found, killings, and enforced disappearances in Balochistan, calling the situation “extremely alarming and a matter of serious reflection.”
Speaking at various events in Quetta and Gwadar and during media interactions, the provincial leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan said that institutions responsible for security, despite receiving billions of rupees annually, have failed to ensure peace for the people.
He stated that citizens across the province, including transporters, traders, laborers, and ordinary civilians, are feeling increasingly unsafe due to deteriorating law and order conditions. He criticized relevant institutions for being engaged in other affairs instead of fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman also highlighted that pressure is being exerted on politics, media, and the justice system, which he said goes against democratic principles.
He stressed that the resources of Balochistan belong to its people, yet they continue to be deprived of basic rights, including education, healthcare, employment, and essential services.
Demanding an immediate end to enforced disappearances, he called for missing persons to be presented before courts and urged serious steps to improve security across the province.
He reaffirmed that his party will continue to raise its voice for the rights of the people and pursue democratic struggle without compromise. He urged citizens to support Jamaat-e-Islami in its efforts to promote peace, restore business activity, and eliminate corruption and insecurity.
Concluding his remarks, he expressed determination to continue efforts aimed at transforming Balochistan into a peaceful, prosperous, and dignified province.
