First Direct Hajj Flight Departs from Quetta, Governor Bids Farewell to Pilgrims

Quetta: The first direct Hajj flight from Quetta to Madinah departed with 307 pilgrims on board, marking a significant milestone in facilitating Hajj travel for the region.
Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail attended the departure ceremony at Quetta International Airport and bid farewell to the intending pilgrims, extending his best wishes for their spiritual journey.
He described the pilgrims as “guests chosen by Allah Almighty,” saying they were embarking on a sacred journey that millions aspire to undertake. He also appreciated the efforts of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and all relevant authorities for making direct flights from Quetta possible, stating that such public-friendly initiatives have provided great convenience to the people of Balochistan.
Several provincial ministers and officials, including representatives from religious affairs and airport authorities, were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the pilgrims, the governor advised them to pray for their families, friends, and the country once they reach the holy cities of Madinah and Makkah. He also prayed for Pakistan’s lasting peace, prosperity, and stability, expressing hope that the spiritual journey would bring blessings to the entire region and strengthen unity among the people.
He concluded by praying for the safe journey of the pilgrims and their safe return home, saying, “May Allah protect you and bring you back safely to your loved ones. Ameen.”
