Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Were Poisoned, I Am 100% Sure: Maryam Riaz Wattoo

Lahore: Bushra Bibi’s sister, Maryam Riaz Wattoo, has claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were allegedly poisoned while in custody.

Speaking on a Geo News program, Maryam Riaz Wattoo said she is “100% sure” that both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were given poison. She further alleged that medical tests were not conducted for nearly eight weeks in order to allow the effects to diminish.

She questioned the circumstances surrounding the health conditions of both individuals, stating that it was surprising that both developed eye-related issues. She added that Imran Khan, being a former athlete and physically fit, is currently being kept in conditions and provided food that raise serious concerns.

Maryam Riaz Wattoo also claimed that the alleged substance could cause blood clotting, which she said may have affected Imran Khan’s eye and could potentially spread to the brain or heart.

She further stated that when medical reports were finally conducted, they were later reviewed by foreign doctors.

Her comments have not been independently verified, and no official confirmation has been issued regarding the allegations.
