Over 20 Maunds of Betel Nut and Indian Gutka Recovered Near Riverbank in Karachi

Karachi: Police in Karachi have recovered more than 20 maunds of betel nut (chalia) and Indian gutka that had been dumped near a riverbank close to the Mochko check post.
According to police officials, the contraband was hidden at the site for smuggling through an unpaved route. Authorities believe the مواد was intended to be transported illegally after being temporarily stored near the river.
The recovered items have been taken into custody, and a case has been registered.
Police further stated that efforts are underway to trace and arrest the suspects involved in the smuggling attempt.
