Load Shedding Exceeds 10 Hours in Karachi Amid Intense Heat

Karachi: Prolonged power outages have worsened the situation in Karachi, where load shedding in several areas has exceeded 10 hours amid شدید گرمی.

According to reports, electricity outages are being carried out in multiple علاقوں including Garden, Lyari, North Karachi, New Karachi, Malir, Korangi, and Orangi Town. Unannounced load shedding is also ongoing in Manghopir, Surjani Town, and Sohrab Goth.

The situation has become particularly challenging during ongoing matriculation examinations, as several examination centers are also facing power outages.

Students have reported difficulties in attempting their papers due to the intense heat and lack of electricity, raising concerns among parents and education authorities.

Residents have urged authorities to take immediate action to reduce the duration of load shedding, especially during the ongoing heatwave conditions.
