Turkey Hails Pakistan’s Diplomatic Efforts, Urges Full Implementation of Iran-US Ceasefire

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has welcomed the recent ceasefire announced between the United States and Iran, expressing hope that the agreement will be fully implemented and remain free from any provocations or sabotage.
In an official social media statement, President Erdoğan referred to the conflict that began on February 28, which had brought the entire region to the brink of war. He described the recent ceasefire announcement as a positive and encouraging development. Erdoğan emphasized that the real test will be how effectively the ceasefire is maintained on the ground. He warned that even minor lapses or provocations could reignite tensions.
The Turkish President praised the efforts of all countries and individuals who contributed to achieving the ceasefire, particularly recognizing Pakistan as a “friendly and brotherly country” and commending its diplomatic initiatives.
Erdoğan highlighted that the region has endured prolonged periods of war, conflict, and human suffering, and stressed that it is now time for peace, stability, and security for its people. He underscored that sustainable peace benefits not only the region but the entire world and requires all parties to act responsibly, patiently, and seriously.
Reaffirming Turkey’s commitment, President Erdoğan stated that his country will continue to advocate for peace, dialogue, and reconciliation at both regional and global levels, supporting every effort that steers the world away from conflict toward stability and prosperity.
