Blind Murder Case in Quetta Traced: Husband Identified as Killer, One Accomplice Arrested

Quetta: Police have successfully traced a blind murder case after the body of an unidentified woman was found in a sack in a rainwater drain in the Killi Kateer area of Kuchlak, leading to the arrest of one suspect while efforts are underway to apprehend the main accused.

According to officials, the Serious Crime Investigation Wing (SCIW) launched an investigation after receiving information on April 2. A crime scene unit was immediately dispatched, where the woman’s body was discovered wrapped in a black blanket and dumped in a drain. The body was later shifted for post-mortem examination, and a case was registered before being handed over to SCIW for investigation.

A special investigation team, formed under the supervision of SSP SCIW Dr. Sami Malik, conducted a detailed examination of the crime scene. Using collected evidence and CCTV footage, investigators were able to trace the suspects.

As a result of modern investigative techniques and continuous efforts, police arrested suspect Noor Muhammad. During interrogation, he revealed that the victim, identified as Nosheen, was allegedly shot dead by her husband, Sakhi Dad, following a domestic dispute.

The suspect further disclosed that after the murder, the body was wrapped in a blanket, placed inside a sack, and transported in a vehicle before being dumped into the drain. The crime scene was also cleaned in an attempt to destroy evidence.

Police officials stated that the professional handling of the case and use of modern technology played a key role in solving the blind murder. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the main , Sakhi Dad, while further arrests are expected in the case.
