Balochistan Orders Formal Inquiry into Dana Sar Bus Tragedy

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has ordered a formal investigation into the tragic passenger bus accident at Dana Sar to determine the causes of the incident and establish the facts behind the crash.
The inquiry was ordered on the instructions of Mir Sarfraz Bugti, who directed the Secretary of the Balochistan Transport Department to conduct a comprehensive investigation and submit a detailed report on the circumstances and causes of the accident.
According to Shahid Rind, the provincial government will carry out a transparent and impartial inquiry to identify the factors that led to the tragedy and recommend measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Rind said the chief minister has instructed authorities that no negligence or laxity will be tolerated during the investigation and that responsibility will be determined strictly in accordance with the law and the available evidence.
He added that the Balochistan government stands with the families affected by the accident and is committed to providing them with all possible assistance. The findings of the inquiry, he said, will also be used to implement necessary transport reforms and safety measures aimed at ensuring safer travel for the public in the future.
