German Cyclist Robbed in Islamabad, Stolen Bicycle Recovered After Police Action

In Islamabad, a German national traveling around the world on a bicycle was robbed shortly after arriving in the capital.

According to sources, the traveler, identified as Philipp Sam, had set up camp overnight near the Islamabad Expressway in the Khanna police station area. When he woke up the next morning, he discovered that his bicycle and a valuable camera had been stolen.

Following the incident, the German Embassy Islamabad intervened, prompting swift action from Islamabad Police. Authorities launched an operation and successfully recovered the stolen bicycle.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of foreign travelers, although police responsiveness helped resolve part of the situation quickly.
