Hazara Community Protests Alleged Police Violence Against Women in Quetta, Blocks Alamdar Road

Quetta: Members of the Hazara community staged a strong احتجاج on Alamdar Road in Quetta against alleged police violence targeting women, blocking the road and disrupting traffic flow.
Protesters, including a large number of women and children, demanded the immediate dismissal of DSP Quetta City Anwar Hazara, accusing him of involvement in the alleged abuse. Chanting slogans, demonstrators called the incident “unacceptable” and vowed to continue their sit-in until their demands are met.
The protest caused severe traffic disruption in the area, creating difficulties for commuters.
The demonstrators urged the Chief Minister of Balochistan and the Inspector General of Police to take immediate notice of the incident, remove the DSP from his position, and ensure a transparent investigation into the matter.
