Development of Koh-e-Sulaiman Division top priority of government: CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the development of Koh-e-Sulaiman Division remains among the top priorities of the provincial government.
He was chairing a review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta on Tuesday regarding administrative affairs and the progress of ongoing and proposed development projects aimed at providing basic facilities to the people of the region.
The meeting reviewed in detail ongoing development schemes across various districts of Koh-e-Sulaiman Division, including infrastructure improvement, public service delivery, education, health, communication, and clean drinking water projects.
Commissioner Koh-e-Sulaiman Division Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani briefed the chief minister on ongoing and proposed projects and updated him on their current implementation status.
Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said that sustainable development of Koh-e-Sulaiman Division and provision of basic facilities to its people are among the government’s top priorities. He stressed that the benefits of development projects must reach the public, and all relevant departments should perform their duties with honesty, transparency, and professionalism.
He directed authorities to further accelerate the pace of ongoing development projects and ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe so that public issues can be addressed in a timely manner.
The chief minister emphasized that no compromise should be made on the quality of development schemes, and effective monitoring of all projects must be ensured.
He further stated that providing basic facilities in remote areas is the responsibility of the government, and all available resources will be utilized for public welfare.
The meeting also discussed various proposals and recommendations to further improve ongoing development activities, administrative performance, and public service delivery in the Koh-e-Sulaiman Division.
