UAE Reports Casualties After Attacks; Air Defenses Intercept Hundreds of Missiles and Drones

Abu Dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Defense has confirmed that recent attacks on United Arab Emirates have resulted in the deaths of eight civilians, including four Pakistani nationals, while 178 others were injured.

In an official statement, the ministry also reported that two Emirati soldiers and one Moroccan national affiliated with the UAE armed forces were killed during the incidents.

The ministry highlighted the effectiveness of the country’s air defense systems, stating that 16 missiles and 42 drones were successfully intercepted during the latest attacks. According to cumulative figures, UAE air defenses have so far destroyed a total of 414 missiles and 1,914 drones, preventing potentially significant damage.

Authorities emphasized that the defensive measures played a critical role in safeguarding lives and infrastructure amid the escalating regional tensions.
