Israeli Army Could Weaken Internally Amid Prolonged War Pressure, Chief of Staff Warns

Tel Aviv: Israel Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has warned that the country’s military could face internal weakening due to sustained operational pressure and growing manpower shortages amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
According to Israeli media reports, Lieutenant General Zamir raised concerns during high-level meetings, emphasizing the urgent need for new recruitment drives and updated laws governing reserve service to maintain military readiness.
He cautioned that without immediate measures, it may become increasingly difficult for the army to sustain routine operations while simultaneously managing multiple active fronts.
The warning comes at a time when Israel is facing mounting pressure across several fronts, with prolonged conflicts placing a significant strain on its personnel strength and reserve system.
